Throughout the main congress, participants were exposed to a broad and relevant range of topics that reflected the growing depth of regenerative, integrative, and longevity medicine. The scientific sessions explored concepts related to cellular repair, metabolic optimization, immune modulation, vascular health, detoxification, mitochondrial function, biological aging, clinical innovation, and whole-person approaches to healing. The discussions emphasized that the future of medicine is moving beyond symptom management and toward a deeper understanding of root causes, physiologic balance, cellular function, and long-term patient wellness.
A major highlight of the convention was the dedicated Clinical Workshop, which provided participants with a more focused and practical learning experience. The workshop was designed to help clinicians understand not only the scientific foundations of selected therapies, but also their clinical rationale, safety considerations, patient selection, and practical application in medical practice.
The workshop featured respected PRIMA physicians and experts who discussed important therapeutic modalities in regenerative and integrative care.
Dr. Ma. Thea U. Ancheta opened the workshop discussions with “The Science of IV Therapy: What Every Clinician Should Know.” Her lecture provided a strong foundation on the principles of intravenous therapy, emphasizing proper clinical assessment, safety, formulation, administration, and the importance of understanding IV therapy as a medically guided intervention rather than a routine wellness procedure.
Dr. Marissa R. Torre presented “Unclogging the System: How Chelation Heals More Than Arteries.” Her session explored the broader clinical relevance of chelation therapy, particularly in relation to vascular function, systemic toxicity, metabolic health, and the integrative approach to supporting physiologic balance.
Dr. Erwin Brian T. Tan, the Convention Over-all Chairman, also served as one of the workshop speakers and delivered the lecture “NAD IV: The Molecule of Life, Longevity, and Cellular Repair.” His presentation highlighted the role of NAD in cellular energy production, mitochondrial function, aging, longevity medicine, and regenerative repair. The lecture connected the science of cellular metabolism with practical clinical applications, especially for physicians interested in the emerging field of longevity and cellular rejuvenation.
Dr. Pacilina E. Barotil discussed “Cellular Cleansing & Metabolic Recharging: Hydrogen Peroxide, L-Carnitine, NAC, & B-Complex.” Her session focused on metabolic support, oxidative balance, cellular detoxification, and energy restoration, emphasizing the importance of understanding biochemical pathways when applying integrative medical protocols.
Dr. Ma Judea G. Millora presented “The Golden Antioxidant: Alpha Lipoic Acid and the Alchemy of Healing.” Her lecture explored the clinical significance of alpha lipoic acid as a potent antioxidant and metabolic support agent, particularly in relation to oxidative stress, cellular protection, and integrative healing strategies.
Dr. Joel S. Lopez delivered “Undoing the Damage: How PlaqueX Targets Arterial and Cellular Toxins.” His discussion addressed vascular health, cellular detoxification, and the role of integrative therapies in helping reduce physiologic burden and support cardiovascular and cellular wellness.
Dr. Ruby Ann B. Magpantay presented “Triple Defense: Sodium Bicarbonate, High-Dose Vitamin C & Selenium in Integrative Oncology.” Her lecture explored supportive integrative approaches in oncology care, emphasizing responsible clinical judgment, safety, patient selection, and the careful integration of adjunctive therapies in complex medical conditions.
The Clinical Workshop became one of the most clinically meaningful components of the convention. It provided attendees with practical insights into therapies that are increasingly being discussed and applied in regenerative and integrative practice. More importantly, it reinforced the need for physicians to approach these modalities with scientific understanding, ethical responsibility, proper training, and patient-centered care.
The convention also strengthened PRIMA’s role as one of the leading organizations in the Philippines dedicated to the advancement of regenerative, integrative, and longevity medicine. Through its affiliation with the American Board of Regenerative Medicine, PRIMA continued to align its educational direction with international developments and standards in the field. This affiliation further emphasized the organization’s commitment to professional excellence, global collaboration, and the continued development of physicians practicing in this specialized area of medicine.
Beyond the lectures and workshops, the congress fostered an atmosphere of fellowship, collaboration, and shared vision. Physicians from different specialties and backgrounds came together to learn, exchange ideas, build networks, and explore new possibilities in patient care. The event created opportunities for mentorship, professional connection, and future collaboration among practitioners who believe in the promise of regenerative and integrative medicine.
The theme “The Future of Healing: A Regenerative and Integrative Revolution” was clearly reflected throughout the congress. Each lecture and workshop session contributed to a larger message: that the future of healthcare must be more proactive, personalized, restorative, and biologically informed. The convention encouraged physicians to look at healing not merely as the treatment of disease, but as the restoration of function, vitality, balance, and quality of life.
Overall, the 10th PRIMA Annual Congress & Clinical Workshop was a highly successful and memorable milestone for the association. Under the chairmanship of Dr. Erwin Brian T. Tan, the event brought together respected experts, delivered valuable scientific and clinical education, and reaffirmed PRIMA’s position as a key force in advancing regenerative and integrative medicine in the Philippines.
